    Chengdu is the capital city of the Sichuan Province. The city lies in the southwestern region of the Mainland China. It is located in the Chengdu Plain. In the Chinese language the place is called Tianfu zhi guo, meaning "the Heavenly Country". Chengdu is the center of technology, trade and finance, the hub of transportations and communications in Southwest China. Along with these important facts, Chengdu is a very famous tourist spot in China. Thousands of people come to visit this beautiful city from various corners of the world.



    Chengdu, which has a history of 2300 years and a population of 10 million, is one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China.Well known precious and enchanted giant pandas, the long-standing Shu Civilization and special folk custom in Chengdu are all the gifts of these abundant fertilized grounds.

    Besides, there are abundant world heritages and landscapes around Chengdu, like Jiuzhaigou Valley and Huanglong in the north, Mount Emei and Leshan Grand Buddha in the south, the Yangtze Gorges in the east and mysterious Tibet in the west. The unrivalled Dujiangyan Water Project, the well-known Temple of Marquis Wu and Dufu's Thatched Cottage and also the Sanxingdui Ruins of the traditional Shu Kingdom all offer the tourists distinctive experiences.
