Zhu Rong

In China's mythology, Zhu Rong is the God of Fire. According to the mythology, it is he who live in the Bright Place of Kunlun Mountain, and sent the kingling from heaven, taught human beings how to use fire.

Legend says, Zhu Rong was an oficial in charge of fire under the Huang Emperor. Originally, he was the son of a tribal leader, named Li. Born with a red face, Zhu Rong was a big, tall and a very smart person, also he had an hot temper. At that time, Suiren discovered the method of making fire by drilling wood, but did not know how to keep fire. However, Li had a special bond with fire and he became an expert in fire managing, cooking, heating, lighting, driving beasts and insects away, hence the title of God of Fire.
