Chinese cuisine is really profound in its ways of cooking, and the meaning it contained. As Chinese said, we eat everything which could fly, swim and run. Today, Chinese cuisine have become highly popular in other parts of the world-from Asia to the Americas, Australia, Western Europe and Southern Africa.

Since China covers a large territory with 56 nationalities with different local specialities, there are wide varieties of Chines foods, each with quite different but fantastic and mouthwatering flavors.

Since there are over 20 provinces and 4 municipalotoes in vast China, so there are so many different kinds of native specialties, snacks, cuisine in every provinces, even some cities are differ from some in same province.

Serving and drinking of wine on various occasins and in different places have different meanings. However, one saying could help you understand Chinese better, 'a thousand cups of wine is not too much when bosom friends meet together'.

China's Tea Cultue refers to the ways to pick up tea leaves, methods of preparation of tea, the equipment used to make tea and the occasions in which tea is consumed in China. The terms chayi "Art of Tea" is not the Tea CultureĀ  but the ceremony of preparing the tea.
