  • Shenzhen enjoys convenient transport routes with good air, railway and road links to most big Chinese cities, like Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, etc.



    • 1. By Air

    5 international routes and 76 domestic flight routes fly in and out of Shenzhen International Airport (telephone 27772000-99788), it is one of China's busiest airports. Every day, there are flights to Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an and many other cities all over China. International flights go to Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta as well as many other countries. Tickets can be bought, except for the airpot, from most of the major hotels.

    The airport situated 32 km west of the city,there are shuttle buses operates between the airport and the city centre.



    • 2. By Train

    Shenzhen is located at the junction of the rail routes between Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Kowloon and Guangzhou-Kowloon and trains to Guangzhou operate regularly. The rail line (the KCR) to Hong Kong is also very expedient. The train station lies right on the Hong Kong Border on Jianshe Rd.

    • 3. By Boat

    There are frequent prearranged passenger liners from Shenzhen to Guangzhou, Haikou, Zhuhai, Macau, Hong Kong and Kowloon. The Shekou port can be reached by bus from the railway station, but taxi is strongly recommended.


    • 4. By Road

    A highway goes through Shenzhen to Guangzhou and Shantou. There are buses run from Shenzhen to Guangzhou frequently and it costs about two hours.

    The long distance bus station is near the train station. The bus trip from Shenzhen to Hong Kong takes about one and a half hours and there are buses all the day (Tel:  82321670).

    • 5. City Transport

    The urban transportation in Shenzhen includes buses, taxis, mini-buses and luxurious double-decker sightseeing buses. The bus routes are mostly very nice and there are great number of taxis prepared for visitors.
