The city of Tianshui is found within the northeastern area of Gansu Province. Tianshui has a history of 2000 years. It’s the second largest city within the province, and it is 338 kilometers or four-hour-ride from the capital of Gansu, Lanzhou. Tianshui is on the basin of Yellow River. The city governs 5 counties, namely Qingshui, Wushan, Qin'an, Zhangchuan and Gangu, and 2 districts, namely Qinzhou and Maiji.
