Yinchuan is the capital city of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, which serves as the gate to northwest China. Located in the middle part of a vast plain, Yinchuan faces the Yellow River in the south and has the Helan Mountain in the west. Covering an area of 9,527 sq km, Yinchuan’s population is 1.45 million. The whole city is made up of the city proper, two counties and the new urban area, which stretches for more than 20 kilometer from east to west and 2 to 3 km from north to south. It is unique scenery in Yinchuan City.
